Holiday “Primer”
HOLIDAYS ON AZURE COASTS AND IN COZY OLD TOWNS
Summer/“Vasarytė” is magical precisely because it holds so many different kinds of holidays and slower-paced days.
And when asked what the best kind of holiday is—or which one brings the most rest—you could hardly come up with a single answer.
Sometimes it’s by the lakeside, dressed in a casual tracksuit, curled up in a hammock with a book, and you feel like you’re in the best holiday of your life.
Other times, walking along a promenade on an azure coast, it feels like you’ve never experienced a more “holiday-like” holiday before.
Today I want to talk about the most common, longest, and most planned summer holidays—when you hold flight tickets in your hand and “escape” your home country for at least a week.
To taste dishes from other cultures, to splash into unexpectedly blue beaches, to explore cozy old towns.
And when it’s time to pack a suitcase that is, as usual, of limited capacity, you often get lost between “I want to take everything new I have” and “nothing fits.”
In my own personal travels, there have been times when I packed a lot of things—but they somehow didn’t match each other, and I realized that alongside my suitcase contents, I had also packed the feeling of “I have nothing to wear that matches.”
So when preparing for a trip—don’t lose your common sense. It’s not about taking a lot, but about taking things that work well together.
In the upcoming Summer collection, we will introduce the flowing dress “Kopa,” which perfectly reflects the spirit of this kind of holiday. Dinner at a seaside restaurant—perfect. A walk to the beach—ideal.
In Summer/25 we introduced its black “sister,” and I can confidently say that this model perfectly combines comfort and beauty.
If your holiday includes more old town walks and restaurant evenings, it might also be worth considering a matching lightweight blazer for your suitcase.
Even warm destinations often bring wind or cooler evenings that you don’t want to rush away from. A light blazer over your shoulders is both a practical and stylish solution, and in this collection it will be represented by the checked blazer “Mindfull.”
Are you more of a trousers person? From the same fabric as the dress, we will introduce the flowing “Sandy Me” trousers, along with a wide range of tops to pair with them:
For a pastel, calm look, choose natural linen blouses, available in both a shirt-style version (“Basos Pėdos”) and a fitted model (“Slow Living”).
Not a fan of monochrome outfits? These trousers pair beautifully with the blue blouse “Vandenynas,” as well as the white “Weekend” blouse—often called the visual signature of summer—and perhaps even the small but emotionally rich cotton cardigan “Vanilla Ice Cream.”
It always feels good to cover sun-kissed shoulders with something very light, almost unnoticeable.
This time, we suggest pairing the trousers (and the dress) with ultra-light shirts that you can tie into a cute knot or let flow freely in the wind.
They are so versatile that they work perfectly for both evening holiday plans and daytime beach moments, when you simply want something effortlessly light over your swimsuit.
The best news is that all of the pieces mentioned can be perfectly completed with just one pair of shoes—cocoa-colored sandals that enhance that “comfortable holiday feeling” as you stroll through your vacation days with light steps.
There will still be plenty of space in your suitcase for swimsuits and shorts, while we walk through cozy streets and breathtaking promenades, collecting impressions with both hands like true muses.
It’s not clothes that create the feeling of a holiday—but believe me, they certainly don’t take away a single bit of that “I feel amazing” feeling either.
