Inspired by Old Town Charm
Spring ’24
Chapter l
WHY WILL EVERYTHING BE THIS WAY?
This time, the idea for the photoshoot came so easily that even as the planned days approached, I felt a little afraid — why wasn’t there the usual flutter of doubt: “Did I really make the right choice?”
I had recently visited Christmas-time Gdansk and returned from Italy. Traveling, I stopped in European cities that once again made me gasp at how beautiful everything is abroad!
And yet, on the way home, when my heart fluttered with longing and my thoughts wandered, already circling where to capture Spring, a quiet certainty pierced through — our crew was heading toward home, to a place whose coziness not only matches, but sometimes even surpasses, the “oh, how beautiful and charming” epithets often sprinkled on old towns abroad.
So, for two days, we settled in Vilnius’s bohemian Užupis,
in an apartment full of strongly authentic details.
And that’s where our Spring ’24 was born.
Deeply infused with the knowledge that:
I am creating for the city woman.
Five days out of seven spent here, in the city.
Working hard in the office, buzzing at work, stuck in traffic, shopping in stores,
rushing to deliver or pick up the treasures of her life.
Walking the dog.
Drinking coffee.
Hurrying.
Sometimes barely keeping up.
Managing responsibilities that, when weighed, could outweigh her own.
Independently.
Responsibly.
Strongly.
Marching through daily life with her chin held high.
Confident in herself.
Because self-confidence grows not only from duties, completed tasks, and conquered challenges,
but also from a thoughtfully put-together outfit that accompanies her through the day — often like the cherry on top of the cake.
No. Clothes do not create happiness.
Happiness is created by a HAPPY AND SELF-CONFIDENT WOMAN.
And around her, the entire V&V creative cycle revolves.
In an inspiring city.
Where a happy woman creates.
