SPRING ’25

Spring, in my heart, “stirs” as I watch the world around me begin to lighten:

Snowy streets become easier to traverse, as the snow accumulated over winter sooner or later melts into little streams flowing into drains.
Cars feel lighter too, as they finally get to swap their winter clunky shoes for a more graceful “footwear.”
Animals find relief as their fluffed-up fur smooths out, and the wool grown over winter drifts away like dandelion fluff.
Slim, feminine shoulders feel lighter as the heavy coats and furs are removed.
Rushing feet feel a release too, because winter’s waterproof, insulated boots can now be packed away, awakening the lightweight shoes tucked away in the closet.

No matter how beautiful the winter is, adorned with cozy Christmas decorations… the last month of winter is always for me a month of “waiting for relief.”

“Live in the moment and enjoy it,” say wise books and even wiser people.

No matter how attentively I try to embrace the Valentine’s Day–tinged February, I have to admit that the bubbling streams and green-budding March brings a much stronger anticipation.

Once all the holiday bustle passes, every snowy hill is explored, and at least one snow angel is drawn – it’s time to wait for Spring.

Spring may not bring endless fun, nor will it perform miracles to make everything “run smoothly,” but I know that even if it’s not a miracle worker, Spring will brush our moods with the colors of its palette. That little touch will be the dot on the “i” we were missing during the winter.

This Wednesday, we will present our Spring/25 to you.

Will it surprise you? No.
Will you see something that will make your knees weak? No.

For the fifteenth Spring in a row, we arrive quietly, along paths colored with earthy tones, knocking on your closets with modest elegance and carefully curated combinations.
