The 100th Collection<\/p>\n
One hundred! It echoes in my mind, and through it waves of \u201cmathematics\u201d flow.<\/p>\n
If lately we release 8-9 collections a year, and each contains on average 20-25 new designs, that means in one year we \u201ccalculate\u201d around 200 newcomers. Multiply that number by 15 years of activity\u2026 and you get \u201caround\u201d 3,000\u2026<\/p>\n
No. Not just garments.<\/p>\n
But a kind of our own \u201cchildren\u201d – for whom, before sending them out into the world, you take responsibility:
\n\u201cthat they wear well,\u201d
\n\u201cthat they won\u2019t be lonely,\u201d
\n\u201cthat they bring joy,\u201d
\n\u201cthat they gather compliments and create confidence for the one who trusts us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Was that \u201chundred\u201d all rainbows and unicorns? Did victory champagne always burst into sparkling foam? Did everyone only applaud and admire?<\/p>\n
Oh brother (and sisters), NO.<\/p>\n
We marched through warmth and through cold. Sometimes we had to swallow such bitter consequences of \u201cit didn\u2019t work out\u201d that somewhere deep inside a desire would start to boil – to just \u201cgo work 8 to 5 and at 5:01 leave everything annoying behind the door.\u201d<\/p>\n
But here\u2026 you close the door, and before you\u2019ve even managed to climb into the car, all the \u201coh no\u201d and \u201cuh oh,\u201d all the \u201cwhat do we do and how do we solve this?\u201d are already comfortably seated in the passenger seats.<\/p>\n
If I said those ONE HUNDRED collections just \u201cblinked and passed,\u201d I would be terribly lying. It\u2019s perhaps like raising a child – from the outside all you hear is: \u201cMy, how time flies! You barely looked around and he\u2019s already a grown man!\u201d<\/p>\n
If you asked what it felt like to blow out that solid three-digit number – know this:<\/p>\n
WOW. It really knocked me in the head. And although there wasn\u2019t much time to reflect, and another thought kept buzzing like an annoying fly – \u201cjust hope the smoke doesn\u2019t set off the workshop fire alarm\u201d – I blew it out with a very good feeling in my heart:<\/p>\n
WE DID IT.
\nWe achieved what I never even dared to dream of.<\/p>\n
We grew up. Into maturity.<\/p>\n
