WHY WILL EVERYTHING BE THIS WAY?<\/p>\n
Those of you who have been following our everyday life for years already know what the tiny collections with the slightly odd name \u201cMust-have\u201d are.<\/p>\n
Not impressive in size.
\nSometimes not perfectly color-coordinated.
\nOften built around just one or two categories of garments.<\/p>\n
And yet.<\/p>\n
Arranged in such a way that even I would find it insanely difficult to say which piece in a \u201cMUST-HAVE\u201d collection I personally wouldn\u2019t truly need.<\/p>\n
Rolling year after year with the never-ending cart of seasonal collections, we strictly follow our \u201cunwritten rule\u201d:<\/p>\n
WHEN WE FINISH THE PRE-SET QUANTITY OF A GARMENT \u2014 WE DO NOT SEW MORE.<\/p>\n
No. We certainly don\u2019t do this because extra money is burning a hole in our pocket, or because we enjoy disappointing those who didn\u2019t make it in time but truly wanted to.<\/p>\n
We hold tightly to this principle because\u2026<\/p>\n
We unconditionally respect YOU.<\/p>\n
Walking hand in hand with us through collections, sometimes waiting for them even more eagerly than for Christmas.<\/p>\n
Juggling such trust from you \u2014 makes us happy to the sky and back.<\/p>\n
But.<\/p>\n
Alongside that happiness lives the awareness that in someone\u2019s heart there is the sadness of \u201cI didn\u2019t make it.\u201d
\nThat what was meant to be a light morning becomes \u201canti-light.\u201d
\nThat a perfectly planned outfit suddenly screams because of one missing piece \u2014 spoiling beautiful days and jamming sticks into the wheels of good moods.<\/p>\n

I, standing at the helm of the V&V ship \u2014 the brand\u2019s mother \u2014 understand you.<\/p>\n
And so, even though I know how much additional work a new mini collection will \u201ccost,\u201d and how sweet and effortless it would be to simply say, \u201clet\u2019s sew the same ones, just more of them\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n
After dotting the i\u2019s, I hold even tighter to my core working principle \u2014 and soon enough, dialing the photographer\u2019s number, I\u2019m already sharing what mini collection we have and what vision we can create for it.<\/p>\n
This time, opening up your neatly lined-up sighs of \u201cI missed it\u201d and your \u201cmaybe someday\u201d requests, we assembled a tiny collection \u2014 but one that holds many previously scarce pieces.<\/p>\n
We did not mass-produce perfect copies.<\/p>\n
By changing colors or details, we\u2019re serving you newness on a plate \u2014 pieces that won\u2019t blush when meeting a colleague wearing their \u201ctwin brother.\u201d<\/p>\n
This \u201cMust-have\u201d of ours smells like the forest.<\/p>\n
After rain.<\/p>\n
Wandering daily through nearby woods, I must have \u201cbreathed in\u201d two colors that constantly flicker before my eyes \u2014 shades that have settled not only in my heart but in my outfits for years. So I even clapped my hands when\u2026<\/p>\n
The pieces you \u201cDIDN\u2019T MAKE IT to get, but really wanted\u201d were awakened to a new life in the duet of my heart\u2019s colors.<\/p>\n
And in the shades of the pine forest I drink in with my eyes every day.<\/p>\n
